AN ORGANIZATION THAT LOOKS FORWARD
Hawaii Ocean Education Foundation provides Hawaii families and communities the opportunity to learn and practice environmental sustainability habits that promote ocean awareness and an active healthy lifestyle. Through cultural, academic and competitive experiences participants will become aware of and understand the importance of taking care of themselves and our planet.
Community outreach activities are designed to foster participant’s awareness and understanding of Hawaiian traditions and to develop appreciation of the importance of managing environmental resources.
BE THE CHANGE
We are a wahine run organization established in 2014 to share our values and passion to mālama - or - to take care of - our Hawaii and our planet. A Hawaii-based 501c(3), Hawaii Ocean Education Foundation engages keiki and adults with educational activities, workshops, and experiences to deepen an individuals knowledge and skills in environmental sustainability habits, Hawaiian cultural practices and ocean awareness.
